My love of sports and fitness began at a very young age. At the age of 10, I became one of the first girls in Vermont to play little league baseball (only three girls made the league). During my youth, I participated in basketball, softball, cross-country running, skiing and tennis.

I began my fitness career 22 years ago in Vermont and I have been doing personal training in Manhattan and Brooklyn for 18 years. I have a degree in Physical Education and a minor in Health and Fitness from the University of Vermont and I am currently certified by NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). I have participated in many marathons, half marathons and triathlons in my adult life and Iíve completed two Boston to New York AIDS Rides. I have worked with hundreds of people at all levels of fitness and with many different body types during my career. I believe working out should be fun and I pride myself in challenging my clients to push themselves, but to also have fun while doing it. I have worked at many fitness centers in New York City, including Printing House Fitness Center, Crunch, Manhattan Plaza Health Club, Paris Health Club and Body Elite Fitness Club.

I specialize in core training, muscle toning, flexibility, weight loss, nutrition, cardiovascular training and strength training. I can train you in your home, in a park or at the gym in my building. Whether you are training for your first 5K, getting in shape for a big event like a reunion or wedding or you just want to look and feel great I can help you reach your fitness goals.
